The general feedback from our customers
We asked several of our customers how many cappuccinos they had sold. One customer said he used to sell an average of 60 cappuccinos a day. After a start-up period of approx. 8 weeks, until the beverage pressure word got around regionally, he sold around 25 more cappuccinos a day. About 20 of them personalized drinks. Let's ignore all other cross-sale effects (increase in product value per customer, etc.) and only look at the 20 personalized cappuccinos that were sold more.
The invoice:
1. A cappuccino costs about in Germany. €2,90, with a cost of goods of 0,30 cents.
2. Our printer cartridges cost €79 with a print capacity of 800 prints (Coloranino). This added to the cost of goods results in a cost of goods of 0,40 cents (10 cents per print).
3. Profit per cappuccino = €2,50
4. Acquisition costs Coloranino coffee printer: 1599€ + a cartridge of 79€ per month.
5. If we offset the acquisition costs against the increase in sales, the purchase is already amortized week 13
Don't forget that all other cross-sell / branding effects have been left out of the calculation.
